Who is Kemper Sports?
Kemper Sports manages more than 140 golf courses, private clubs, sports venues, and destination resorts across the United States. This includes a significant number of properties rated among the top 100 U.S. public and resort courses by major golf publications such as GOLF Magazine, Golf Digest, and Golfweek.
Who is OVG Hospitality and Brûlée Catering?
OVG Hospitality, a division of the Oak View Group, is a full-service company known for being a transformative force in the food and beverage industry. OVG’s partner, Brûlée Catering, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will be providing the food and beverage service at Heritage Shores. Brûlée Catering is a distinguished catering company renowned for its passion for food and commitment to clients. Under the iconic and watchful eye of James Beard award-winning Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix, Brûlée Catering brings versatile catering expertise to a diverse array of tables. Their talented culinary team is dedicated to exquisite cuisine that is as visually appealing as it is delicious, with innovative menus.
Why did the Board decide to make changes to F&B Management and Golf Management?
We were moved to action based on resident feedback provided during HOA Board Meetings and the neighborhood wide survey. We explored addressing the concerns with the current management company, but ultimately decided our best course of action, to the benefit of Heritage Shores and its residents, was making a change to the management team.
When will both vendors begin operations at Heritage Shores?
KempertSports and OVG Hospitality/Brûlée Catering, will begin operating at Heritage Shores on March 1, 2024. Planning begins immediately to ensure a seamless transition for residents, guests, and employees.
Will there be a transition period for the vendors?
KemperSports and OVG Hospitality/Brûlée Catering begin service March 1, 2024, but preparations have already begun. As with any major transition, unexpected events can occur. However, we are working with both parties to minimize any service and operations interruptions and will notify residents of any developments, if necessary.
Will the food and beverage menu change at the clubhouse?
The current plan is for the existing menu to be served until the OVG Hospitality/Brûlée Catering Team finalizes plans for new menu options and programming. Stay tuned as the Heritage Shores team will update residents on the new menu.
How will food prices compare to the existing pricing?
The food price range will be similar to the existing menu.
Will golf fees change?
There will be no immediate change to existing fees for 2024.
Will my monthly HOA fees change?
No. This will not affect your current monthly HOA fees.
Will there be any hourly changes to the current restaurant and golf facilities?
We do not anticipate any major changes to hours of operation.
How will existing golf memberships be affected by the transition?
Membership offerings will not immediately change either. KemperSports will be reviewing membership type utilization and pricing and may subsequently offer different products.
What changes will be forthcoming for Golf?
KemperSports hopes to retain many of the existing golf and course and grounds staff. They will be meeting individually with current staff to familiarize them with KemperSports. Certainly, all aspects of the golf operation will be under review. Of course, KemperSports has done their due diligence and had extensive conversations with ownership to understand the priorities, such as continuing to ensure that the golf course itself is in great condition, there is an attractive mix of merchandise available in the golf shop and we offer member programming that serves all types of players from competitive events to family oriented and social programming. Most importantly, KemperSports has the proprietary program called “TrueService”, where they strive to provide “best in class service” to all patrons of the club.
